Bismillah - welcome!

Welcome to the website of Ndiagamar! We are a Finland-based charity association organized and run by

volunteers and registered in the Registry of the Finnish National Board of Patents and

Registration (Reg. number 196.603). Our association is involved in promoting Ndiagamar in its activities.

Ndiagamar is a Senegalese school project with the aim of helping underprivileged children in a Dakar suburb

to have a meaningful childhood including access to education and stimulating extra-curricular activities.

Our activities at a glance

The fundraising of our association consists of collecting annual membership fees and donations, which are

channelled straight to the Ndiagamar school project without any deductions whatsoever. Our activities also

include promoting South-North co-operation, projects related to Senegalese and Finnish culture, involving

schoolchildren, teachers, and youth workers of the two countries.

We believe that a grassroots association such as ours can effectively make a difference!

Mission

Our primary aim is helping the Ndiagamar school project is to improve the conditions of the school building so that the school will have running water, electricity and lavatories. In addition to the  above, we hope to provide the classes with recycled or new schooling materials through donations.
